They talk in your ear

and tell you what you want to hear;

the lies that they spread

can stay in your head.

Their sole purpose in life

is to bring you strife

and lead you astray

from God’s perfect way.

So gird up your mind

this you must do,

for the enemy is trying

to devour you.

If ever you find yourself

being led astray,

the word of God

will show you the way.
